Withings Blood Pressure Monitor

Withings, makers of the (to my knowledge) first Wi-Fi body scale, announced initial availability of their Blood Pressure Monitor accessory for iPhone and iPad. The device actually has very stylish looks, contrary to what most health-related devices typically look like.

It hooks into the existing free and universal Withings app for iOS and thusly tracks your blood pressure results along with weight and body fat results provided by the aforementioned Wi-Fi scale. Apart from simple sharing capabilities via email, Withings also partnered with existing health and fitness-related service providers such as Google Health, Microsoft HealthVault, and Runkeeper.

The blood pressure accessory is now available in Europe for €129, with availability in North America and the rest of the world later this year.
